Everyone at Solutions is so excited because there are only…

Yay!
If you plan on coming to Dash, and haven’t done so already, please read my previous post “So, what is a sample sale? (Part 1)” for a few questions that we have answered from brides about the event. The following are a few other questions that have come up recently:
Q: How early should I arrive for Dash for the Dress?
A: At last year’s event we had a few brides who arrived the night before! I don’t think that it would be necessary to arrive THAT early, but we have heard rumors of some brides arriving as as early as 5:00- 6:00 a.m. on Saturday the 26th. The doors are going to open promptly at 8:00 a.m.
Q: What do I do when I get to Dash?
A: When you arrive please visit the check in table to sign in for the event. There you will be able to get more information on how the event works.
Q: Can I have someone hold my spot in line and come back at 8:00 a.m. when the doors open?
A: If you are in the first group of people allowed in the store (approximately the first 20-30 people in line) you will be given a number that will hold your spot in line. As long as one person is in line to hold all of your numbers you are allowed to leave the line. If all members of a group leave the line you forfeit your place. WE WILL NOT GIVE OUT NUMBERS FOR MEMBERS OF A PARTY THAT HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET. (aka. Please make sure you arrive with the rest of your group, or you risk standing in a different place in line.)
Q: How many people should I bring?
A: A bride can bring anyone who is important in deciding on her dress for her big day! There is no limit to how many people you can bring, although space is somewhat limited in the store. Usually a group of 3-5 works best, just so you can have a few people to hold dresses while you try on, help you out in the fitting rooms, and to give opinions. We love brides and their “teams” who get into the spirit of the event. Check out these girls from last year’s event who really had team spirit!

Q: Is there a time limit?
There will be a time limit for how long you are able to spend looking for a dress. It’s part of the fun of the event! The first group of 20-30 people has 25 minutes to find their gown (not including time at check out). We will then rotate to the next group of 20-30. If you do not find your dress in the given allotment of time you are able to get back in line and try again. However, dresses can not be put on hold at the end of the 25 minute allotment.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of dresses you can try on at a time?
There is a limit of 4 dresses per bride at one time. Please be considerate and try not to hoard dresses that you are no longer considering. There will be consultants available to help return styles to the rack that you do not want.
Q: What should I wear?
Wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to take on and off. I would recommend wearing a sports bra, and full coverage underwear. There are fitting rooms, but there may be more brides than rooms available. Comfey shoes are a must too!
Love,
